Annual Meeting - 2020

The Columbia Economic Development Corporation held their Annual Meeting on November 12, 2020 at the Columbia Crossing River Trail Center. Due to COVID-19 restrictions for indoor events in Pennsylvania, only 30 attendees were permitted. Those invited to the meeting were the CEDC Board Members, Mayor Leo Lutz and members of Columbia Borough Council and Borough Manager Mark Stivers, John Biemiller and Ezra Rothman from the Economic Development Company of Lancaster County, Matt Sternberg of the Lancaster Housing and Redevelopment Authority, Deacon Henry Reese, Recipients of Certificates of Appreciation to citizens who supported the CEDC in the past year and the Keynote Speaker, State Senator Ryan Aumnet representing the 36th District.

Mayor Lutz provided comments on redevelopment projects over the last 20 years in Columbia, Keith Lutz, President of the CEDC reviewed the activities of the organization over the last 12 months, Paul Resch , CEDC Board Member conducted the annual election of board members up for renewal and the Executive Committee confirmation, and State Senator Ryan Aument spoke of small business opportunities in the Commonwealth of PA. Deacon Reese provided the invocation and benediction, and CEDC board member Ben Gorman leads the group in the pledge of allegiance. Bill Kloidt, Executive Director of the CEDC served as Master of Ceremonies.
